Sam had her 15 month check-up today.
Weight = 21 lbs (25th percentile)
Height – 29.5 inches (in between 10-25th percentile)
She is meeting all of her developmental milestones right on target, the pediatrician was very happy with her progress. Only issue really is to get her off her “te te” (AKA the bottle). When the pediatrician tried to listen to her heartbeat, Sam said “ba boom, ba boom,” like we do when we play with the vet kit stethoscope at home 🙂 I was surprised at how social she was in the waiting room, and even in the exam room. She really is blossoming and coming into her own.
Only 2 shots, DPT and the last of her Hib series.
Funny story today from preschool. Aidan’s friend Onye had her b-day party and the theme was Dora the Explorer. What we all did not know was that an actual Dora was coming to the party. Poor Onye was traumatized by the Giant Dora (so were some of the other kiddos in the class). Aidan went right up to Dora to give her high five and was the first to jump up and dance and sing along with her. He kept turning around to me saying “Look mom, it’s Dora!” At the end of each song/dance, he would tell everyone “good dancing!”
What a funny kid!
