Yesterday was Bear’s 11th birthday. He has been the best dog… protective, loyal, and so very sweet. After all, he was my first baby. To celebrate his special day, he dined on the turkey neck and drumstick.
This morning when I got into the car, I said “Ok, we are right on time.” Aidan replied, “Mommy, you are a very useful engine.”
Sir Topham Hat tells Thomas that when his train arrives on time… My “Aidan Thomas” gave me a chuckle this morning as we started our day right on time 🙂
Sam is learning via Aidan’s potty training experience. She has figured out, as I learned tonight, that she should say “bye poop” when the potty is flushed. Ha ha!
Nana came to visit today, bringing with her a toy catalog to look for Christmas gifts. Aidan quickly figured out that he could look thru the catalog to pick out things he wanted. I told him he would have to ask Santa Claus for things he wanted, reminding him that Santa got little boys who were “good listeners” presents. Later on, I was looking thru the catalog saying to myself that I would like something. Aidan told me I would have to ask Santa.
Our children, smarties they are!
