Samantha goes to the potty!

Samantha (the name she would prefer to be called these days) decided that she was ready to go pee in the potty this morning. She wants to use the little potty, which is especially cute 🙂

carrots are good for you

Aidan’s teacher shared a funny story with me this morning. Carrots were on the menu yesterday at lunch. Ms. Bahija was telling all the students that they should eat their carrots because they were good for their eyes. When she turned to Aidan’s table, he was rubbing his carrots on his eyes… now that is one way of trying to get the benefits of carrots without actually having to eat them!

Sam’s first trip to the dentist

Sam had her first dental checkup this morning. The hygienist asked her how old she was… her reply: “I am 2 years old and I have tartar.” After the hygienist picked her jaw up off the floor, she told me that I had a very precocious 2 year old. This just shows that children are always listening… I told the kids that they both needed to go to the dentist but Sam needed to go first because she had tartar build up on her teeth. I think that Sam thought having tartar was something special, so she wanted to be sure that the dentist knew it 🙂
