Bear’s back legs have been giving him a lot of trouble lately. He has a really hard time getting good traction to get up inside with the hardwood floors, but does really well outside. The guys working on our addition made him a house on Sat. I got some blankets, a heat lamp, and a ramp so this little place is quite snazzy (it will have a shingled roof and siding as our addition progresses). The vet assures me this is where Bear needs to be so that he feels safe getting up and down. I feel better knowing that he has a warm place to go if he wants, but we all know that Bear likes the cold weather better than warm with all that fur. Here is a pic of his new place (George was testing it out :-).
