We have been hanging out at the pool since coming home from work and school on Friday. Beautiful weather and lots of fun have been had by all (and Samantha LOVES her silly bandz in case you cannot tell 🙂

Aidan’s first tooth pulling was quite the event in our house. An almost dentist visit, 2 teeth came out at once after mommy worked very hard to pull them at home, etc. This time around, the 3rd tooth simply fell in Aidan’s mouth while he was playing some kind of jump rope game with his sister Wed afternoon. I had to call the tooth fairy to make sure she remembered to stop by our house with a special toy (while searching frantically in the attic for a toy, so that I did not have to make a Target run after he went to bed 🙂
Nana came to watch Aidan play his last soccer game of the season. Post-game there were popsicles, and each player received a medal for hard work. It was super hot today, so the afternoon consisted of hanging out at the pool. Nana got both kids snorkles and goggles, which resulted in a major milestone…Aidan swam by himself! Samantha did get into the water, but preferred her poolside seat dressed as Fancy Nancy.
Next week is teacher appreciation week. We went to Perry Harrison this morning and secretly weeded and mulched Ms. Stevenson’s class garden. She is going to be so surprised when she sees it tomorrow morning. Weeding and mulching seems like such a small way to thank her for all that she has done for Aidan this year. She has turned our little wild man into a smart Kindergarten student. For that, we will be forever grateful!
