Samantha joined the fun of surf camp today. She had a female surfer helping her, which made her feel super special. She was much quicker to “pop up” this summer, and so she caught a ton of waves and had a blast.
Because the waves were better today, Aidan decided it was time to do some tricks. He was a bit embarrassed when I asked him to do some for me to videotape (visualize Aidan going “mom, you are embarrassing me….” face palm) so I tried to be as cool as I could be. He loved riding the waves all the way in. Here is one example that I snapped without him knowing 🙂
Samantha and I played in the water some this afternoon. The waves were a bit rough.
So rough, in fact, that I got knocked down (of course while Rahul was snapping pics) but I am proud to show that I saved my favorite shades from the waves….check it out if you do not believe me.
Tomorrow is my morning to run (woo hoo), and Rahul and I are going to get breakfast while the kids are at surf camp. We are calling it a beach date night 🙂
Missing FB and George, hoping we are getting rain for the veggies, but having a blast.
