For our final day, we visited Epcot.
The whole family was excited about Mission Space – a ride where you experience NASA training in a simulation format. You can choose Orange or Green.
The Orange Team experience uses a centrifuge that spins and tilts to simulate speed and G-forces during launch and re-entry. The Green Team experience is a motion simulator ride that does not spin and is less likely to cause motion sickness.
Guess which one we picked? It was awesome, but I did feel a bit queasy afterwards.
We also did other simulation activities that made you use math and science to create your own experience. We kept elbowing future engineer Aidan ALL DAY 😉
After our math and science morning, we headed to the next part of the park to tour the World. We had lunch in the UK. Fish and chips!
We have Italy’s gelato and Japan’s pick a pearl activity for saving the afternoon. The kids were DONE with all the fun and wanted to head home. Whew, that was close!
My plan is to take the pearls that Samantha and I picked and make them into a necklace for her upcoming birthday. How cool, right? We picked the pearls!
Day four: 8.5 hrs, 8.89 miles, 20, 053 steps.
Folks, here are the total numbers:
Go Shimpi family… we rocked this spring break vacation!
